WELCOME HOME

The Welcome Home Team is comprised of two very dedicated and experienced Okanagan REALTORS® who just happen to be the most active team in the Century 21 Assurance Realty office.  With over 16 years of combined real estate experience and over $100 million dollars worth of Real Estate transactions under our belts we have the knowledge, experience and resources at our disposal to help make your purchase or sale both smooth and profitable.

TEAM HISTORY

The Welcome Home Team started off as two successfully independent REALTORS®...and other than working as a team not much has changed. Let us expand a bit on this point as it may not be all that clear. As independent agents working side by side in the same office for the past six years we found we shared certain...traits, ideals, ethics and vision. Instead of continually battling with one another for internet presence and market share we decided to investigate the possibility of ‘joining forces’ for the greater good...selling more homes. After much discussion on how teaming up would benefit both of us, as business people, and our clients we decided that it was a fantastic idea.

As singular agents we were both in the top five most productive and successful agents in our office. It was a big decision to ‘team’ up. The idea was that unless it worked out that we could provide better service for our clients and higher sales there was not much point in confusing a good situation. However knowing each other as we did we knew we would be able to work as a cohesive partnership.

We both know the internet and social media like the back of our hands. We used these tools with much success apart, therefor it only stood to reason that together we would dominate the area with our combined internet presence...and we have. We are currently the number one most frequented online presence in Century 21 Assurance Realty in Kelowna. Furthermore we are in the top one percent most frequented websites in all of Century 21 Canada. (out of over 8000 agent sites!) We have won numerous Centurion® Awards and have helped more Sellers and Buyers accomplish the increasingly difficult task of making money in a down market.

To what do we credit our success? I guess we would have to say that we simply do things differently than most others in our industry. We do not consider ourselves a team in the traditional way most real estate teams do. We still run our businesses as independent agents. That means we both act as though we are not a team but friendly competitors. Although our listings are mutual we compete to see who can sell them the fastest and for the most money.

As a Seller you gain the advantage of TWO agents for the price of one. Both of us market our listings in the same way we did when we were not a team. Because of this fact we have the unique ability to ‘double dip’ on our marketing. This grants us unsurpassed internet exposure. We know beyond a doubt that we do more then any other agent or team, that we are aware of in this city, to market our listings.
