Built-In Bar in a Small Home

How To Fit a Built-In Bar in a Small Home!

Shared by BarrieCentury21.ca and Tim Lintick

Setting up home is all about learning how you like to live. And when you're in a smaller space house or apartment – living in less than 800 square feet or so– you really have to prioritize. Deciding what's of the greatest importance in your home is totally subjective, of course. So even though there might not be room for things like laundry machines or a dining room table, you can still make room for a proper home bar. Because sometimes, to some people, boozing up is of the utmost priority.

The photos above capture the living room in a Brooklyn home owned by Brenna and Andrew, who showed off their under-800-square-foot brownstone apartment in the September issue of Good Housekeeping magazine. Among the many great projects they took on in a recent renovation was turning a tight built-in bookcase into a party hub home bar, complete with a wine fridge and plenty of room for liquor bottles and glasses.

It's a great reminder to not ignore your small home's tiny crannies. After all, one man's nook is another man's home bar. To fuel your inspiration, here are 4 more home bars built into nooks, closets, cabinets and bookshelves.
