5 Things We Love About 43 MacEwan Meadow Crescent

1. Location. Location. Location.

Even if your child walks slower than a tortoise they could still make it to Simons Valley Elementary (Public) or Monsignor N. Anderson Elementary (Separate) in less than 10 minutes. There's a park a stones throw away. Heck, you could probably hit it throwing left handed from your front yard. (Please don't try, you'll probably hit a child).

Hop on your bike and you'll be on a trail in Nose Hill Park in two minutes. Jump in your car and be downtown in 20 minutes. We haven't tested it yet but there's a debate in our office whether you'd get to Deerfoot or Stony Trail faster. Either way, you couldn't finish two good songs before you'd be over 100km per hour.

2. There's just so much space.

This house keeps going and going. The main floor living space is so long it could be split into a dining room and living room. Or just one long racetrack. The high ceiling and big windows make it seem huge. The kitchen is long and wide, you can easily fit a dining room table there as well and you'll never trip over your cooking partner. Then you go down a few steps to the family room and realize it's the biggest room in the house. Go down a few more steps to another bonus room... man cave, theatre room, studio, place for the kids to hang out and you'll hear them... the possibilities are endless, and awesome. Oh yeah, the upstairs master bedroom is massive too. But you'd probably only sleep there with all the other space.

3. Don't worry about costly maintenance.

Brand new floors in the kitchen & bathroom, new windows, and recently replaced roof. This house is move in ready with nothing to worry about. That's not easy to find in MacEwan Glen. The owners really cared for this home. They loved it. You won't be forced to spend money on large items you don't get any enjoyment from. Move in and make this house your own, fill it with great memories.

4. Oversized, insulated, electrified garage.

Room for two cars and storage, or a work bench. Spend lots of time in the garage? Like a warm car in the winter? Hate scrapping your windshield? Need a place to tinker, build, carve... do man stuff? Have a canoe, boat, rhinoceros to store? Do you have more Christmas decorations than Santa's workshop but can't ever find a place to store them? Finding a garage this big in this price range is not easy at all. (PS... its has a new roof and new windows too).

5.MacEwan Glen is a great place to live.

Character homes, mature trees, quiet streets, friendly neighbours, a vibrant community association, great schools, parks, pathways - seriously, what else could you want?! MacEwan is the kind of neighbourhood people move into and never move out of.
