Porcupine Plain and Area Market. November 2014

Century 21 has a built in blog feature as part of all C21 agent's suite of applications and I am supposed to be posting a blog on a regular basis. I am not big on filling the Internet with pointless chit chat and never can seem to pin down a valid blog post, despite sitting down and attempting to do so on multiple occasions.

So today I decided to start my blog with no real theme other than what is happening in and around the area.

Winter is setting in and local hockey is in full swing. With the temperatures dropping, fewer people will be electing to move and I expect a slower residential market. Having said that, there are some attractive homes in and around Porcupine Plain that are priced well and may be a great fit for you and your family. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

In the agriculture market, the demand is still very strong for good producing cultivatable acres. If you are interested or even considering the sale of your farm land please let me know and we can have a confidential, commitment-free conversation about the possibilities. There are a few quarters of land in the RMs of Porcupine and Bjorkdale currently for sale, please contact for more information.

In the commercial market there are some exciting changes in the near future. One that I can comment on is the Chelan Hotel. Owners Brian and Molly are leaving the Chelan Hotel after many happy years as operators. Brian and Molly are excited for the next chapter of their lives and I wish them all the best. Jory and Phyllis, will be taking over operations at the hotel as of December 1st. They intend on bringing plenty of new ideas and energy to the business they love. Please stop in and see all of the changes in store where all roads lead to Chelan.

Until next time,

Darren
