Understanding Real Estate Forms - Buyer Representation Agreement
With an increase in competition for us Realtors it’s important to set ourselves apart from the rest. Dave & I are committed to making sure our clients understand everything that is happening throughout the process. One major part of the transaction is the forms, the dreaded forms, where both buyers and sellers initial and sign at a fast pace and are completely confused by the end of the meeting. We have found a great resource (TREB) for explaining these forms in plain language so that our clients can understand what’s happening and ask questions about what is expected of them during the transaction.
First will be the Buyer Representation Agreement, the form that Buyers will sign when committing themselves to one Realtor, to work on their behalf to find that perfect property. Buyers beware when signing this form that it is specific to what you are looking for and that you trust, respect and like the Realtor you are committing to work with. Check back for the next form explained, Listing Agreement.
