It was October 2008 when we first came to the Okanagan.  We visited friends who live in the beautiful area of McKinley Landing and we fell in love with Kelowna before we even arrived for dinner!  And then we never really went home ...

Personal Background

Before Kelowna, our lives were in Scotland and before the girls were born we were fortunate to have had the opportunity to live and work in Japan for a couple of years and have also travelled through Europe, South East Asia and the Carribean.  But as beautiful as Scotland is, we got fed up with the rain and found ourselves drawn to a nicer climate and a healthier lifestyle and found ourselves gravitating towards British Columbia.

I now live in the Kettle Valley neighbourhood of Kelowna with my husband William and 2 lovely daughters, Jenna & Rachel.

The year we arrived in Kelowna, the new Chute Lake Elementary was scheduled to open and we felt that a brand new school would be an easier transition for the girls and coupled with the fact that Kettle Valley has an undeniable charm, was the reason we chose this neighbourhood.
