Car Battery

Arg...I am having an issue with the car battery. It keep getting corroded and then the connection is not sufficient to allow the car to start. This has happened so often it is driving me nuts. I googled the situation and someone with the same problem said to sand everything down and reattach it...well I know all that but the thing I am going to try is covering everything with conductive grease...silver grease is what google said to use...I will try it and let you know how it works.
