According to CREA Chief Economist Gregory Klump, in a recent interview with CTV, there will be growth in house prices in 2009 in six of 10 provinces.  Included in that forecast is NOVA SCOTIA.  To date in the Halifax Dartmouth region we have seen the prices remain stable.  Sales are only slightly weaker than they were at the same time last year and average prices in most areas are still seeing slight increases.  The key for home sellers is to price it right when it first goes on the market as that is when you are likely to have the most activity.  For home buyers, be ready for when the right property comes on the market.  Patience is crucial for both buyers and sellers.
