I mentioned earlier this month that in September of 2004 following the Summer Olympics, we saw an increase of 18.7%. Considering all the negitive press, I would say that September was a good month for the Peterborough market. We had an increase of 14.3% in sales compared to the same time last year, and with last year being a record year for sales, we should hold our head high.
- Average list price this year is $229,658 up 4.7% over last year
- Average sale price this year is $223,253 up 4.5% over last year
- Sale to List Price remain even at 97%
- This year it is taking on average 49 days to sell and home in Peterborough, vs 43 days last year
- Total sales on the year is down 48 units or 4.8%
