The Largest and Smallest Homes in The World - Barrie

Can you imagine living in the largest home in the world?  Well the largest family dwelling in the world is 2.15 million square feet.  It's the Istana Nurul Iman Palace in Nation of Brunei, in Asia.

This is the official home of the Sultan of Brunei, (Hassanal Bolkiah) and is recorded to be the largest home in the world.

There are 1,788 rooms there and 257 bathrooms, as well as 5 swimming pools and a 110 car garage.

So much is the price tag?  Buyers would be looking at 1.4 billion dollars.  I'd hate to see that hydro bill!

Now on the opposite spectrum is the smallest house in the world.

The tiny house movement is becoming a big reality with many prefab homes under 500 square feet being built.

Here is one of the smallest homes in the world built by it's owner in San Francisco, CA.

It is only 96 square feet!  Can you imagine that?

So there you have it.  The largest and the smallest homes in the world.   Feel free to share this blog with others.
