If you want the viewings, then set the stage. Most buyers make the decision whether to view your home or NOT, from your photos. There are simple things you can do to make your home look more attractive in a photo.
1) Take the 'stuff" off your FRIDGE. A fridge full of magnets, notes and photos does not show well in a photograph.
2) Clear the clutter. Everything on top of your kitchen cabinets and on your countertops should be remove for the photo. You can always keep the essentials out after your pictures are taken. Kitchens are important to buyers...keep yours looking clean and clutter free.
3) Bathrooms are always a difficult shot for photographers due to their size. Remove all hanging towels, bathmats, tooth brushes, soap dishes etc, to make it look more spacious.
Just try it, take a photo of a room in your home, then follow these tips, and retake the photo. You will be amazed at the difference you (and your buyers) will see.
