Are you tough enough??? The Men from the Century 21 Westcountry Realty Ltd. team are certainly TOUGH ENOUGH!!! Join us and take up the High Heel Challenge with the Mountain Rose Women's Shelter Association at the 2nd annual "Walk a Mile In Her Shoes" Fundraiser.  Sponsored by Century 21 Westcountry Realty Ltd.  Join us on Saturday, September 21st, 2013 at noon for laughter, fun and some serious walking.  We invite everyone to participate in this awareness fundraiser.

  • Where: Starts at Bauer's Furniture, Rocky Mountain House (51st Avenue & 50th Street)
  • Register: Registration can take place at any time up to 15 minutes prior to the event.  For information on registration and for forms contact: 403-845-5339
  • Raising Funds: T-shirts provided to all participants raising $50 and over - you can form teams and challenge your team mates - but each individual must register separately.  Tax receipts issued for donations of $10 and over (Event Pledge form must be used all "walkers" registered with MRWSA)
  • Fun: Come dressed in your best attire, uniform or street wear - various prizes awarded (Please keep all attire modest - this is a family event)
  • Food: The Western tradition of hot dogs and hamburgers

Frank Baird created Walk a Mile in Her Shoes in 2001.  What started out as a small group of men daring to totter around a park has grown to become a world-wide movement with tens of thousands of men raising millions of dollars for local rape crisis centers, domestic violence shelters and other sexualized violence education, prevention and remediation programs (www.walkamileinhershoes.org)
