The hamlet of Alder Flats is located within the County of Wetaskiwin and situated 30 min south of Drayton Valley and 30 minutes north of Rocky Mountain House on Hwy 13, off of Hwy 22.  This quaint hamlet  is named after the trees in the area. Em-Te Town, the local privately built ghost town, offers a look back to a frontier town. Enjoy horseback riding and sleigh rides, or dwell in the great outdoors at campsites and cabins available in the area. Alder Flats is generally known as a small farming community in Alberta's beautiful west country.

  B-94, Rocky's Radio Station will be hosting the 8Th annual Turkey Drive on December 13, 2011. B94 will start accepting donations at 6:00 am and will run the drive till 6:00 pm.   The turkey drive began in Rocky Mountain House in 2004.  Our office has worked with the Lords Food Bank collecting donations and putting together baskets for the families in Rocky Mountain House ...
