Clear Lake

Welcome to Clear Lake Village Resort! Located on beautiful Clear Lake, the resort is located just minutes from Bala, Port Carling and Gravenhurst, in the heart of Muskoka. The resort was first established in the early 1900's, strategically located on the Sandy Bay of what was then known as Torrance Lake. Today resort visitors continue to enjoy the same sparkling, spring-fed lake, known for its crystal clear waters, hard sand bottom and great bass fishing. The resort property includes twelve well kept cottages, spread over 12 beautiful forested acres and built in the classic Muskoka tradition. At the waterfront a natural sand beach is great for swimming and sand castles. Cast a line from the dock or take one of our complimentary non-motorized boats out for a tour of the lake. Enjoy a game of beach volleyball on our large sand court, let the kids play at the playground or challenge a friend to a game of horseshoes. Our fully fenced sports court provides for further activity - choose a game of tennis, basketball or floor hockey. For off-site adventures, visit our Area Attractions page to see all that Muskoka has to offer!

The question is which 4 ... Read More...

A friend of mine used to say that there were two certainties on any May two-four weekend in Canada; bugs and beer. One is a welcomed inclusion. The other, not so much. But with these simple tips, you can help reduce the nuisance in an eco-friendly way - without killing the very environment you are enjoying; Many people claim a simple plastic bag filled with water will ward off flies.
