Current Committee Involvement.

Heather is very happy to have sat on the  Board of Directors at London & St. Thomas Association of Realtors, from 2014 to 2017.  She was very happy for this experience and helping point our board in the direction it is heading.  So many changes! 





Every year, the Executive Committee selects one or more worthy individuals whose service to the Association they judge to be above and beyond the call of duty as the recipient of LSTAR'S most prestigious honour - the Lyn Coupland Outstanding Service Award.  In past years, this honour has often gone to long-time Director or a Past President.  This year is a little different.


Since she joined the Association in 1999, she has served on a number of Committees and Task Forces, including the Professional Standards Committee, the Discipline Committee, the Branding Task Force, and the Quality of Life Committee, which she chairs in 2011.

However, it is not the extent of the volunteerism on behalf of LSTAR that brought her to the Committee's attention, so much as its scope and depth.  Asked to liaison between Habitat for Humanity London and LSTAR for the duration of our second Home at Last Affordable Housing Project, she immersed herself not just in that one project, but in the organization overall.  As a member of Habitat's Family Selection Committee, she took on the role of Family Partner and provided support and guidance to Scott and Melissa Moss, shepherding them through the completion of their sweat equity requirement and preparing them for home ownership - and she did this from the moment of her assignment to the moment the family received the keys to their new home.  Nor did her work for Habitat end with the completion of this renovation.  She continues to sit on the Family Selection Committee to this day and will be our liaison for our next HAL project.

This REALTOR doesn't pay her Quality of Life principles lip service; she lives and breathes them.  In our books, such exemplary service to our community equals outstanding service to our assocation.  For that reason, I am very pleased to present Heather Arnott with the Lyn Coupland Outstanding Service Award with our thanks and our congratulations.

Brave sales reps rappel down building for Easter Seals!!

Recently in London, Ont. nine brave Realtors and staff from Century 21 First Canadian rappelled down the tallest office building in the city to raise money for Easter Seals. The team garnered the top spot for team fundraising at $22,716.

Vito Campanale, broker of record for the office, says, “I couldn’t be more proud of our team. I know that we have great people in our office but the fact that they literally put themselves out there to raise so much money for such a great cause is humbling. I don’t think that I could rappel down a 26-storey building so I’m happy that there are people in our organization that could and did.” Century 21 First Canadian Corp. was also a corporate sponsor for The Drop Zone.
