Selling in the Fall

The Spring market is busy, but when buyers constantly lose out on homes, they become more serious in the Fall.  Serious buyers want or need to move...soon.  Nobody likes to move when the snow is flying, if they can help it, so now the pressure is on.

Here is a list of things to ensure the once picky buyer, is ready to put in the perfect offer and buy your home:

1) Clean your windows - with all the lovely Fall decor and colour in your gardens be sure you can see it clearly from the inside.  Windows aren't usually thought of in the Summer because we are outside, so do not let this chore sit until the Spring.  It makes your home shine!

2) Get your yard cleaned up - rake the leaves, clean out the gardens, put away the summer furniture.  Less is best so you can let the beauty of the Autumn shine.

3) Spend time on the little things inside - now that you aren't running around and enjoying the summer, spend some time inside and get the house picture perfect.  Fix the broken handle, touch up your trim, check your furnace...make sure everything is well maintained so buyers have no hesitations.
